I am originally from a small town outside Seattle, Washington – Puyallup, Washington to be exact (don’t worry no one knows how to pronounce the town’s name). After attending Washington State University and receiving my Bachelor of Arts in communications with an emphasis in advertising from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communications, I traded in the small-town life for the bright lights of Las Vegas – and never looked back.
I’ve spent over 12 years in the casino, tourism and hospitality industry. I served as the luxury division advertising manager for Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch Resorts for nearly a decade. I parlayed that experience into taking on the exciting challenge of advertising manager for the Palms Casino, helping to rebrand and hone the new Palms after the $620 million expansion. I’ve managed hundreds of direct mailers, email campaigns, advertising placements, collateral pieces, outdoor boards and VIP events. There isn’t a job too big, too small, or too odd that I haven’t seen and brought to the finish line.
I consider myself a DIY enthusiast. I spend my personal time scouring Pinterest for my next project – my specialty being refinishing furniture. We can always bring new life into something old, with a little time and care.
