Savanna here! A former NBC television and digital reporter who turned into a social media coordinator. What do the two have in common? They both execute large, complicated stories and break them down into short, quick messages in attention-grabbing ways. That's my specialty! Developing trusting relationships with my community and using storytelling skills to create content that can help an individual, organization, or company succeed.

Here's the breakdown of my journey to Quillin. In June 2019, I graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Theatre Arts. There, I learned the ins and outs of broadcasting and how to generate content applicable to the Eugene community. After that, I was off chasing stories as a reporter in Joplin, Missouri. That’s when I recognized how thrilling it is to create memorable story content, but not always in the form of a 1:00 or :30 news package. So, to grow as a young professional and learn to develop stories beyond a television platform, I decided to move to the city where I was born but never lived - Las Vegas! I should mention here that I am another Californian who moved to Sin City. #sorrynotsorry

When I'm not creating social media content, you can find me at the barre (reread that phrase, if you may)—connecting mind, body, and soul as a fitness instructor. I may be attending live performances on the Strip or plays at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park (the theatre geek in me must take advantage of the shows offered in the entertainment capital of the world). You could even see me on TV at Allegiant Stadium capturing sounds of Raiders games for viewers as a parabolic operator. I’m happy to call Vegas my home and I look forward to growing and learning from the creative thinkers of Quillin.
